Jayashree Naidoo obtained a Diploma in Higher Education at the University of Natal and specialised in Psychiatric Education she then held the position of Head of Clinical Teaching in the Department of Psychiatry at the King George hospital. While in Natal, she served on the Committee for Regional Human Resource Development as part of the RDP and Development Programme for Health Professionals.
Jayashree moved to Gauteng to take up a position at the Medical School of the University of the Witwatersrand, where she lectured for 5 years, her speciality being in the Human Behavioural Sciences and their application for the health professional.
She was involved in curriculum development and lectured in the Faculty of Health Sciences. While employed at the University of the Witwatersrand, Medical School she was exposed to private sector people development. Jayashree recognised the opportunity to make a shift in her career path, to use her skills and expertise in a different environment as a executive/life coach, management trainer and facilitator. She continues her relationship with the University of the Witwatersrand as an external examiner and moderator. Jayashree is an expert in the field of human capital development, both at corporate and individual executive coaching levels and is the director of Tact Consulting (Pty) Ltd, Human Capital Development. She co- project managed a sixteen month R5m provincial skills training and development initiative for the Gauteng Department of Transport Roads and Public Works, and was instrumental in the design and development of training material and multi-media training solutions.
Jayashree is a certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) Master Practitioner (International NLP Trainers Association and Professional Guild of NLP). NLP is a powerful outcomes –based change management discipline and she has applied her knowledge and expertise at a number of corporate organisations, where both the individual and the broader organisation have confirmed value add.
She currently lectures at the Gordon Institute of Business Science in the areas of Leadership and People Management, Diversity Management, High Impact Coaching and Mentorship, Personal Mastery, Executive Emotional Intelligence and Organisational Behaviour and Leadership.
